The font-style Property

A font's style property controls whether the font is italic, oblique, or normal. For example:

p { font-style: italic; }

Here are all the possible values:

Property Value Example
font-style: oblique The quick brown fox jumps over the sleazy dog.
font-style: italic The quick brown fox jumps over the sleazy dog.
font-style: normal The quick brown fox jumps over the sleazy dog.

Note: In Mozilla, "oblique" is displayed as italic.
